I teamed up with SOS-Lapsikylä, DNA and Source Creative to write old classic fairy tales into new, modern stories. I wrote eight stories (later 6 more), and they were recorded into audio and are available in multiple platforms, free to listen. The project was called "Satuillaan"
The project was made in a positive, fresh, modern light, tackled modern issues kids are faced today, with a brave and fun tone. The eight stories I wrote were The Ugly Duckling, Pinocchio, The Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Little Match Girl, Three Little Pigs, Hölmöläiset (Fools in Hölmölä) and Peter Pan. In them, a little girl Nelli travels into the stories with her trusty companion, The Green Fox. The Green Fox is magical, of course, and together they help the story protagonists and maybe learn something in the process.
The stories were extremely well received (We were even on the morning tv-show (Huomenta Suomi) to talk about it!). They were released in August 2019, and by the end of October they had been listened to over 23 000 times! This meant I was requested to write two additional, original stories for Christmas, and I did just that. All stories are still up and free to listen for all the kids (and grownups!) to enjoy.

By 2023 these stories have been listened to over ONE MILLION times, which is a record number in Finnish podcasts/stories. Two more original stories were added to the list in summer 2022, and later two more in 2023. All in all, this whole project was a huge success.
