Hey there, I am Nora, a creative person and artist from Finland.
I'm an author, illustrator and a graphic designer.
Also a painter, gamer, and ceramics maker.
I'm in love with the sea, and consider myself a cross between a woodland creature and a garden gnome.
My biggest aspiration in life is to be an artist and a storyteller. I love creating worlds with words and images. My dream is always to create something enchanting and tangible, something that makes reality better. I fill my life with all the big and little things that can be considered art, be it music, books, paintings, nature or people, I crave to be inspired. I always feel like there's a story waiting for me behind every chill wind or dot of paint.
I like to think I have a knack of finding that special something in every story, idea or image, and embellish it with some whimsy, or subtle humor (that sometimes turns out very dry and peculiar, like life itself).

I graduated from EVTEK Institute of Art and Design in 2006 with a B.A. degree in Graphic Design. I've worked freelance and in-house, mostly in publishing and software. I illustrate for many authors, publishers and companies. I write children's books and stories, the latest I also illustrated. So far my books have been translated into ten languages.
I work mostly digitally, but also traditionally. I love to dabble in different styles: kids' stuff, dark stuff, traditional painting, comics, advertising, you name it! I love stories in all forms, all things illustrated and love to find new and exciting things to create – and people to collaborate with!
